2012 Conference Invitation
Transformation – Better than Before
Te huringa ketanga – kia whai hua kia angitu

Following two Education Review Office (ERO) reports on RTLB Governance and Management the New Zealand Ministry of Education decided to transform the RTLB service, effective from 2012.
The transformation has merged smaller clusters across the country into 40 clusters of approximately 20 RTLB per cluster. Each cluster has a designated Lead School and the Lead School Principal is responsible for the effective management of the cluster operations. Cluster managers, a newly created position, will be responsible for the ‘day to day’ operation of the cluster.
The Waikato Conference Committee have chosen the theme;
“Transformation – Better than Before
Te huringa ketanga – kia whai hua kia angitu”
to reflect the changes in the RTLB service.
We acknowledge that change can be challenging and through this conference we aim to provide quality professional development and motivation for RTLB who support students with learning and / or behavioural needs.
